Update on Heather’s dad.
Jan 22nd, 2007 by Chris
I want to thank you all for praying for Heather’s dad and family. This is the latest update Heather has sent out:
“This morning my dad is continuing with us. The last few days he has been gradually improving. His body has been through such a shock from the flesh-eating bacteria. His stomach and kidneys have not started working again yet. They tried to get him to breath on his own, but he has not been able to do that yet. As I write this they have taken him into the operating room to replace his bandage with a plastic one that will protect the wound more. To clarify (I was confused before) they removed mostly skin and fat and a little muscle tissue under his right arm, and whole back. They will also be looking at the tissue around the wound. My dad’s hands and toes have been receiving poor blood circulation due to blood pressure medication, and he is in danger of losing the ends of his fingers. I am trusting God to not let him lose any more tissue! Thank you so much for your prayers, please continue to hold him up in prayer. Thank you also for all the prayers and caring for my family. We feel very loved, and we are trusting dad and ourselves into God’s care.”

Thank you for your continued prayer.

Thanks for the update. Will keep praying.
